Returns: Here’s the Deal
If you trust me enough to plop down real, hard-earned, or easily inherited trust fund money on one of my paintings, I am going to trust you if you later write or call me and say you don’t like it as much as you thought you would.
It’s about trust.
You are trusting me enough to connect with my art and make a commitment to hang it on your wall.
I am trusting you not to buy my work, hang it up, throw a fabulous party using my art to impress your friends. Then, after wiping wine and spaghetti sauce off the painting, writing to me to say you want a refund.
It is very important to me that you are insanely happy with your original, Cindy Davis painting.
If you aren’t, you may return it to me within 30 days in the new and undamaged condition, for a full refund of the purchase price.
I do not refund shipping costs. Wish I could, but I can’t. Hey, most times I give you Free Shipping on the trip out to your place, so I think you could spring for the ride back to my place if you need a refund.
Exception: Twenty-Something paintings are non-refundable.
If you live in the USA, then you may expect to receive your painting either by United States Postal Service (small packages), FedEx Ground, or UPS.
I offer FREE GROUND SHIPPING for most original paintings within the USA.
If you live outside the USA, please email me for a price quote. I will research to determine if I can ship to your location. My international collectors are responsible for all duties & taxes imposed by their nations’s customs law.
Since most of my paintings are created on gallery wrapped canvas and un-framed, thus making them light in weight, shipping costs are typically low for my artwork.
Gallery wrapped canvas is a way of stretching canvas onto the wooden frame so that the cloth covers the sides of the paintings. Sometimes I continue the design around the sides, sometimes I paint the sides white or espresso brown.
Gallery wrap canvases tend to have a modern, cotemporary look. They come ready to hang, no frame necessary. This also makes them light to ship.
Should you choose to frame your original painting on gallery wrapped canvas, you may either select a wider, thicker frame to accommodate the depth of the gallery wrap, or have the work re-stretched onto a traditional half-inch depth which will fit most all frame moulding. Your local frame shop can easily handle this for you.
